MJC Early Care and Education Laboratory and Parent Participation Program has openings
(Modesto, CA) – Modesto Junior College has a few openings available for preschoolers and their families in the MJC Early Care and Education program in MJC’s dedicated instructional setting on west campus. The Me-Wuk Child Development Laboratory and Parent Participation Preschool is accepting applications for their long-standing program serving preschoolers between 2 and 5 years of age and their families. Children will start in the fall 2014 semester and continue into the spring 2015 semester.
Children attend Monday through Friday mornings, from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m., or Monday through Thursday afternoons, from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. The cost for a family/preschooler/family is $15 per day. If admitted, each semester a child is enrolled (fall and spring) one parent/guardian from each family is required to enroll in, attend, and successfully complete a 6-hour parenting class through MJC Community Education. Each semester, families are required to volunteer in the classroom.
