MJC Hosting First Annual Historically Black College Fair

When: September 16th From 9:00AM-1:00PM
Where: Mary Stuart Rodgers Building, West Campus
Modesto Junior College is hosting its First Annual Historically Black College Fair on September 16th at the Mary Stuart Rogers Building on the West Campus. The event is from 9:00AM-1:00PM. This is a great opportunity for high school and college students to meet with over forty different colleges from across the country. At this event students can receive “ON-THE-SPOT” admissions and scholarship consideration from some of the most prestigious colleges in the nation. Students are encouraged to bring an official transcript, a copy of an SAT/ACT Score, an unofficial transcript, two letters of recommendation, and a personal essay (if available). Students should bring multiple copies of each item to give to different schools.
Some of the colleges that will be at the fair includes: Clark Atlanta University, Florida A&M University, Grambling State University, Hampton University, Howard University, Morehouse College, Morgan State University, Spelman College, Texas Southern University, and Tuskegee University. This event is sponsored by ASMJC, MJC Black Student Union, and Modesto City Schools.
