A new proposed Bike Path would connect MJC's West and East campuses traveling mainly on 9th street. The plan would use the newly built bike path on the Briggsmore overpass to connect to 9th street and than cut back up Tully to MJC. It would be a 2.3 mile bike and pedestrian path. This is a $700,000 project with most of the money coming from State and Federal Routes to School Funds. The rest of the funds will be from City Hall's plan to repave 9th street. Work would begin on this bike path starting in this spring or summer.
